    Because building a house involves a long-term commitment, our preferred partner signs a contract with you known as the “Individual House Construction” contract. It is the only contract of its kind recognised by the Authorities. It gives you all of the guarantees set out below:

    Our preferred partner is a member of the Union Nationale des Constructeurs De Maisons Individuelles [National Union of Individual House Builders]. This professional organisation admits only companies in France that meet very strict standards relating to financial guarantees and stringent quality criteria for their constructions.

    Deposit reimbursement guarantee: In the event that you are refused a construction permit or financing for your project.

    Financial completion guarantee

    No matter what happens, you are guaranteed that your house will be ready by the agreed deadline and at the agreed price.

  • Our Brittany New Build Story

    We started looking to buy a home in Brittany 5 years ago. First of all we looked into buying an old run down building, this seemed at the time a really great idea, however when we looked deeper into it we realised that not only would it cost a great deal to renovate but it was also very time consuming. With us both working and living in the England it would have been impossible to keep coming back and forth to do the work or even to manage the project.

    New build plot in Brittany We then started looking into buying a property that was on the market already renovated when we came across this company. It all seemed too good to be true. Their price included everything and we could choose our own house and have it built from scratch with no hassle, they dealt with everything and even helped us sort out the mortgage. There was no need for us to find notaries, arcitects, builders, etc as this is all included in the agreed price along with all aspects of obtaining the relevant planning permission.

    We booked a trip over to Brittany after speaking to them on the telephone and met up for them to take us through the numerous options available to us. We looked at plots that had been planned already and the prices were very reasonable indeed. We would never have imagined that you could have a house built for so little.

    They had building plots available on the coast or in the country, depending on your requirements. We thought long and hard, do you want a house near the beach, great for holiday lets or a plot in the country where you can choose a large piece of land and enjoy the peace and tranquillity. We chose the second option, selected a 2 acre plot and then set about designing our house with their expert assistance. New build foundations in Brittany

    We feel that the investment return will be very positive. Buying off plan saved us quite a bit of money and the project has already proved to be a great success for us even though the house is still not quite complete.

    The company has been in business for over 40 years and going with such an established company really does give you some peace of mind that your project will be completed and promised. They do keep you informed all the way through the process, holding your hand every step of the way. In our case they took time out to personally accompany us to the bank and helped us to decipher all of the paperwork involved in arranging a French mortgage.

    With the contracts signed and the finance in place it was time to go through the technical plans. We got to choose our own flooring, wall tiles, and the colour of the exterior walls etc. We went through absolutely everything technical regarding placement of doors, light switches, plugs sockets, etc and were given the opportunity to add any extras or remove any unwanted features prior to the project continuing. Once the technical plans had been agreed and signed of they were very quick to start the build. This was probably due to the fact that their contract gives them a certain amount of time to acheive each stage of the build or they give you money back!

    New build well underway in Brittany Our house is now nearly complete, we are looking forwards to taking over our furniture and getting it ready for letting to holiday makers and, of course, for ourselves to enjoy. What a great investment and an incredibly exciting experience this has been.

    We feel that this company has made the whole process of having a new home built in Brittany relatively stress free and don't feel we would have coped without their help and expertise.
