General Description
Charming, traditional cottage in a courtyard setting on our own 50 acre private estate, which has direct frontage onto the Nantes Brest canal.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms
Upstairs there is a modern bathroom with shower, toilet and handbasin. There are two bedrooms, one double and one twin. Each with exposed beams and stone gable wall to give your holiday that traditional cottage feel.

Living Areas
The accommodation comprises a large open plan living area downstairs. The lounge area has an inglenook fireplace with woodburner for those cosy winter evenings. Exposed original chestnut beams throughout. The large dining rable is hand made from oak harvested on the estate.

Kitchen / Dining
The kitchen has all the usual modern facilities including electric cooker and microwave. Washing machine, tumble drier and freezer also available.

Outside
Private garden with BBQ and garden furniture.

Plenty of parking space under cover.

Location
You will have freedom to wander throughout the estate. Explore the nature trails. Picnic tables provided to enjoy the atmosphere. Relax and unwind in unspoilt countryside. Roam down the track to the fields, through the oak glade and then return along the canal to your own holiday cottage.

Changeover Details
All prices are fully inclusive of bedlinen, towels, end of stay cleaning, electricity, water and loan of adult bicycles.

Usual bookings are from Saturday to Saturday but please ask about winter specials and late availability.

Magourou is situated just 3 kilometres from the market town of Rostrenen which is known as the crossroads of Brittany, due to it`s central position. It therefore forms an ideal touring base to discover one of France`s most distinctive and attractive regions.

Birdwatching, fishing and cycling along the picturesque Nantes Brest canal.

Rambling for the enthusiast or gentle strolls along the canal towpath.

Or just simply relax and enjoy tranquillity in unspoilt countryside.
